Mahmood is originally from Iran (Persia). He was born in Abadan, South West of Iran, which is a popular tourist destination and a city of oil with the largest oil refinery in the world. In Abadan you can feel the warm weather and see the hospitality of the locals with lots of talented people in different subjects.

After he immigrated to another city (Shiraz), the birth of civilization,culture,history,arts,poem(Hafez,Saadi,omar khayam…) he stayed for a while and learnt his Art.

Since he immigrated to the UK and settled down he started taking his painting seriously, with family & friends encouraging him to carry on his paintings.

Now he works in his studio in Petersfield, Hampshire which is the perfect place to paint and enjoy the scenery.

He paints in oil and acrylic with a variety of subjects he loves, he put his passion and inspiration into his paintings to give you delicate, fine, bright, happy, warm paintings to cheer you up any time you look at them!
